Dear Engaged Couple
Thank you for choosing STRAVEN COURT as your wedding venue. We look forward to assisting you to
make this the day you always dreamed of. To follow are some menus which we have created, but please
feel free to design your own menu from the listing that is also attached, and we can then cost this based on
the number of guests attending your wedding. We encourage you to come in and meet with us to discuss
your day and from there we can add in the extras that you need, ie: overlays, sashes, centerpieces, wedding
cakes and cake stands etc…. This meeting really does give your planning some direction and we are happy
to hand over any other contacts you may need, or we can book them for you as required.
These remember are suggestions only – please see Menu Selector on our website www.weddingsa2z.co.za too which you can use to create your own menus and we can then cost accordingly. Always remember it is
your wedding and you know your guests better than we do, so let us plan together what will make the day a
special memory for you and your guests.
THESE MENUS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
- Setting of venue day before wedding
- All meetings as required for planning at our offices, 3 Clough street, Pietermaritzburg, final site visit at Straven Court
- Co-ordination of your wedding and program for the day, including your planner being from arrival till end of food service (unless otherwise advised)
- Food waitron service on the day for buffet or plated meal as required
- F600 crockery and Eloff cutlery (upgrade to Dubarry cutlery available at R 3.00 per person)
- Embossed white or cream table linen for guest tables, buffet tables as required, main table, DJ, gift table, cake table and arrival drinks tables.
- Cruet sets for tables
- All heating equipment as required for meal and hot plates
- Transport of food and food service staff to the venue
- Table numbers if required, cake table and cake knife, VAT @ 14%
Excluded is Furniture, ie: chairs and chair covers and Glasses, Draping, Décor and Fairy Lights. These can be selected to suit your wedding and we shall arrange this hiring, ie: Tiffany chairs, Ancona chairs
with covers and sashes or Wimbledon Chairs.
